Our Medical Group Outpatient Surgery Center recently received AAAHC accreditation, thanks to the efforts of Joann Johnston, Joann Hinen, Surgery Center staff and physicians, and Dr. Fred Rasp. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC/ Accreditation Association) is the leader in ambulatory health care accreditation with over 2,500 organizations accredited nationwide. The AAAHC accredits an array of ambulatory health care organizations including endoscopy centers, ambulatory surgery centers, office-based surgery centers, student health centers, and large medical and dental group practices.

The Accreditation Association serves as an advocate in providing high quality health care through the development of nationally recognized standards. It also offers ambulatory health care organizations a unique peer-based review system that adopts a collaborative and educational approach. The AAAHC Certificate of Accreditation demonstrates our organization's commitment to provide safe, high quality services to our patients. Congratulations to our Surgery Center!
